Every realm's market keeps its own stock and its own prices. A realm rich in something sells it cheap; a realm short of it pays well and sells it dear. Goods move between markets on courier contracts that Merchants carry, and every market is supplied from the capital, The Grand Exchange in Everdale.
Touch the HUB and the market opens on the website, signed in as the avatar that touched it. Stay within 20 metres while you buy and sell. What you buy, and the coins for what you sell, come to your mailbox.
Your discount comes from Charisma and your Merchant level, up to 25%. It lowers what you pay and raises what you're paid.
Courier contracts replace the old mini-game. When a market runs short, a contract goes up to carry goods there. Pick up at The Grand Exchange or a market with too much, unload one crate a minute at the market that needs it, and every delivery earns your colony coins and earns you CXP. You have to be there in person, so markets become somewhere people meet.
The stall shows the market's state. One crate stack shows how well supplied it is, the other shows goods waiting to leave, and a countdown floats over a courier's head while they unload. A new market starts empty and fills as couriers supply it.
A colony that owns a market can set a fee of up to 10%, paid into its treasury.
Make it yours. The main prim is a plain cube that holds the scripts. Keep the cube, take the stall mesh off, and build your own market around it.
